When winter blooms – Abstract painting in blue and white.

 I painted this picture out of an inner need – for silence, for lightness, and for a moment of reflection.
 The many bright blossoms are like thoughts or memories to me, quietly appearing and disappearing again.
 The cool blue and grey tones represent calm, winter and depth, while white carries light, hope and new beginnings.
 I didn't plan anything while painting; I let myself be guided by the flow of the colors. Layer by layer, a world of its own emerged, vibrant yet still.
 This work tells of a winter that is not cold, but full of inner movement and delicate blossoms.
